to select the desire entity. You can break line, arcs,
circles, ellipses and polylines. When breaking entities, you must specify
two points for the break. To use this tool choose 'Break' from Modify menu bar or
select icon

Steps to Break the Entity :-
Select the entity to be Break (Entity in fig. 1 & 2)
Select the 'Break' tool from menubar or toolbar.
Select the two point within that, entity to be break (Point A and B).

In above Figure1 line is an entity which you to broken for that you have to do all steps as described above and you will get that entity in broken form as shown in fig. 2.
