Nesting Information in DXF file

You can write down inside the DXF file, some important information about the part like 

• Rotation to be allowed or not
• Required quantity
• Name of the part
• Material
• Thickness and 
• Remarks

This information will be displayed inside the relevant boxes in PLUS 2D.  

You just need to add the following text starting with NEST_Info in your drawing(dxf) file using 'MTEXT' command.

           "  NEST_Info Rotation=1 Qty=10 Name="SL4H0025" Material="steel" Thick=2 Remarks="SL4H0025 2mm thk 1# "

Hence the Add shape dialog will look as below after you have selected the file. 

The Bounding length, Bounding Width and the utilized Area is automatically calculated from the DXF files.
