Point Snap

Point snap is used to select the nearest point on another entity. To select this choose 'Settings -> Snap -> Point Snap' or select the icon from the snap toolbar.

To use this while drawing first select the entity to be drawn then by selecting this, toggles it 'ON' and pick your mouse pointer near to the point to be select. It automatically snap that point.
