In PLUS 1D every material can be associated with a picture, Section perimeter, cross sectional area and Mass per unit length. That picture is shown in the Stock page, Part page, Inventory dialog and in RTF report.
After pressing the 'Set Material Data' in inventory dialog, the following dialog appears. For the material select the picture. You can add or delete the material rows to remove unwanted materials.

Material |
Name of the material. this will be used in the inventory and everywhere. |
| Kg/m | It is the weight of the material per m. |
| Section Perimeter | It is the perimeter which to be powder coated. |
| X-section area | It is the cross section area of the section. |

To set a picture to material, if the desired picture is not available in the list. |

If you have dxf file for the material, then you can select that dxf file. Software will automatically calculates Section Perimeter, Cross section area and makes the picture from dxf file. You can add one or many files at a time. |

Cancel any change made to the material database. |
