The User can edit existing materials - Glass, Lineal, Fittings and Resource items as well as add new ones.
To add new material to a category, this is to be used.This is activated on clicking 'Add' butotn in the Edit Material Category dialog.The window that is visible is given below.
New Material Details
| Material Code | The Material Code of the material |
| Display Text | The name for the item. |
| Thick(mm) | Thickness of the material in mm only. |
| Rate | The rate for the material |
| Rate Unit | THe unit for the rate specified. This is available for selection only depending on the thpe of material and the Cost property |
| Generate Mate Code and Display Text | This allows the user to get System generated material code and display text. For More information Click Here |
| Code | The material code. This is a system generated combination of letters and numbers. |
| Manufacturer | The manufacturer of the material item. This cannot be changed. |
| Brand | The brand name of the material item. This cannot be changed. |
| Shade / Finish | The Shade or Finish of the material. |
| Model / Code | The Model / Code of the material. |
| Display Text | The name for the item. |
| Thick | Thickness of the material in mm only. |
| Rate | The rate for the material. This is to be specified per unit, which can be selected. |
| Min Billable Qty |
The minimum quanThe minimum quantity that will be billed. Minimum billable qty unit will be same as rate unit. |
| Discount Bands | The value for various discount bands is to entered / modified here. |
